2010 Stratus Cabernet Franc

The much-celebrated 2010 vintage allowed Niagara’s red varieties to show their true potential within the region. Described by WineAlign's Michael Godel as a 'beastie boy'. It displayed a layered glass-filling bouquet of blackberries, perfumed violets, black olive tapenade, integrated oak spices, and a pronounced graphite character.

Now, 14 years later, the aromatics are even more complex with seasonal notes of pine, juniper and savoury black fruit compote of black fruits. The palate is dense yet harmonized with bright spikes of rosemary and blueberry followed by textured tannins and a long finish of sweet tobacco, saddled leather and spice.

Stunning!
