Stratus winemaker Dean Stoyka continues to forge the unique path first opened by original Stratus winemaker JL Groux , eschewing the fashion for pale, almost watery white rosés in the "Provençal" style, instead opting for a more substantial pink, here a deep pink/pale red colour, offering fully ripe fruit flavours - a saignée that works in the Stratus context, which is to say, serious wines at all level, neither by-product nor after-thought. I find this delightfully flavourful and satisfying at the same time, with terrific saliva-inducing acids, and very good length. - 91 Points, John Szabo, WineAlign

So distinctly and bloody cabernet franc from Niagara-on-the-Lake you feel at home with a glass. Colour bled through is important if not definitive with varietal aspects in clear view, namely herbal to herbaceous and peppery jolts that scream out the name franc. Aromatic more than many, crisp and crunchy, direct and full of energy. Proverbial food Rosé for the grilled fleshy fish and poultry in your life. - 91 Points, Michael Godel, WineAlign
